Threaded Raised Face Flange
We manufacture stainless steel threaded flanges for piping systems where threaded connections are required instead of welded joints. Our products include female threaded flanges with internal threads manufactured to specified thread standards, including NPT or BSPT, subject to the selected design. Manufactured according to customer drawings and applicable GB, ASME, JIS and DIN standards, these flanges are available in stainless steel grades including 316L, 304L, 321/321H, 310S, 317L, 304H, 347H, 904L and Duplex 2205, subject to availability. Sizes range from 1/4" to 4" (DN8–DN100). Pressure ratings and thread specifications must be confirmed against the applicable standard, material, size and operating conditions.

Applications
Our stainless steel threaded flanges are designed for compatible threaded piping connections where welding is not required or is not preferred, subject to the applicable pressure, temperature and installation requirements.

Small-Diameter Piping Systems
Threaded flanges are ideal for small-diameter piping systems (typically 4 inches and below) where welding is difficult or impractical.

Installation in Hazardous or Confined Areas
Threaded flanges require no welding for installation, making them ideal for hazardous environments (such as explosive atmospheres) or confined spaces where welding poses safety risks.

Connecting Pipes to Valves and Equipment
Threaded flanges serve as the connection interface between threaded-end pipes and valves, pumps, and other equipment, enabling easy assembly, disassembly, and maintenance without hot work.

Temporary or Frequently Disassembled Installations
The threaded connection allows for quick installation and removal, making threaded flanges suitable for temporary piping installations or applications requiring frequent disassembly for cleaning and maintenance.
Quality Control
Each batch of Threaded Flanges undergoes the following quality control procedures:
Incoming Material Inspection
Verification of material certificates (chemical composition and mechanical properties); confirmation of material grade per order requirements; visual inspection of forging blanks for surface defects.
Dimensional Inspection
Outer diameter and thickness measurement; bolt circle diameter and bolt hole positioning inspection; sealing face flatness inspection; thread gauge inspection (NPT or BSPT) to ensure proper thread fit.
In-Process Control
Real-time monitoring of forging temperature during hot forming process; dimensional inspection of sealing face and threads after machining; sealing face surface roughness inspection; thread inspection with taper thread gauges.
Batch Traceability
Heat number, production date, material test reports, and dimensional inspection records fully archived; all inspection data traceable per batch.
Customization
We provide custom female threaded flange manufacturing according to customer drawings and project specifications, including internal thread machining, raised face finishing, bolt-hole drilling and product marking. For NPT threaded flange requirements, please specify the applicable thread standard and size when requesting a quotation.
Hot Forging Forming
Utilizing advanced hot forging equipment for one-step forming of flange blanks, ensuring dense internal structure, uniform grain distribution, and excellent mechanical properties.
Internal Thread Machining
Internal threads are machined to the specified thread standard and size. Thread dimensions and fit are inspected using suitable gauges according to the applicable requirements.
Bolt Hole Drilling and Positioning
Professional drilling of bolt holes with strict control of bolt circle diameter and hole positioning accuracy, ensuring precise alignment with matching flanges.
Custom Marking
Supports steel stamp marking per customer requirements, including material grade, pressure rating, size, standard, thread specification, and heat number for full traceability.
FAQ
Find answers to common questions about our products, services, and support.
What standards do you manufacture Threaded Flanges to?
We manufacture threaded flanges according to applicable GB, ASME, JIS and DIN standards, as well as customer drawings, subject to the required specifications and manufacturing capabilities.
What thread types do you support for Threaded Flanges?
Depending on the product design, we can support NPT or BSPT thread specifications. NPT and BSPT have different thread profiles and standards, so please confirm the required thread type and standard when requesting a quotation.
What is the size range for Threaded Flanges?
Our listed size range is 1/4" to 4" (DN8–DN100), subject to the selected design and applicable standard. Please confirm the required nominal size, thread specification and pressure rating for your application.
What is the difference between Threaded Flanges and other flange types?
Threaded flanges connect to compatible externally threaded pipes without requiring a welded pipe-to-flange joint. Weld neck and slip-on flanges typically use welded connections. The appropriate flange type depends on the piping design, pressure and temperature conditions, applicable standards and installation requirements.
